Description

President Harry S. Truman's address at City Hall in Providence, Rhode Island. The President spoke at 11:35 a.m. from a speaker's platform erected in front of City Hall. During his remarks he referred to Governor Dennis J. Roberts, U. S. Ambassador to Korea John Muccio, Senators Theodore Francis Green and John O. Pastore, and Representatives Aime J. Forand and John E. Fogarty, all of Rhode Island.
